June 26 – 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

oin us on Thursday, June 26 for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson at OC Waterpark. This global event raises awareness about the importance of teaching kids to swim and preventing drownings. We’re proud to be a host location for this event for the second year in a row, bringing together local safety organizations like the Ocean City Police, Fire Department, and Beach Patrol to promote water and general safety.

The event starts at 9:00 AM with informational booths from local emergency management agencies, followed by the swim lesson from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. After the lesson, guests can explore the booths and learn more about safety until noon.

Pre-registration is required for swimmers, so make sure to sign up on our website before the event. We can’t wait to make this important day fun and educational for everyone.

School’s Out Celebration

June 27

It’s time to celebrate the end of the school year at OC Waterpark. Join us on June 27 for our School’s Out Celebration, where we give students a reason to smile after a hard year of work. Bring in an A (or A equivalent) from your report card and get 50% off admission, plus a free Ben’s Pretzel to keep you fueled for all the fun ahead!

There will be face painting (12-2 pm) and glitter tattoos available to add a little extra sparkle to your day. So come make a splash with us, enjoy some awesome treats, and kick off the summer in style!”

Mermaid Brizo Meet and Greet

June 29

Join us for a magical Mermaid meet & greet with Mermaid Brizo on June 29! Starting at noon, Mermaid Brizo will be splashing around in the lazy river at the park, interacting with guests, sharing stories, and spreading mermaid magic as she floats through the water.

Mermaid Swimming Experience

July 7

Make a splash with Mermaid Brizo in our exclusive Mermaid Swimming Experience. Held from 5:30-8:30 pm on July 7, swimmers can sign up for one 30-minute session. Children ages 3-14 are welcome, but they must first pass a swim competency test to wear the magical mermaid tail.

This unique experience allows kids to swim like a mermaid in a fun and safe environment while also learning valuable water safety skills. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind opportunity! Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today!

Shark Week

July 7 – 11

Dive into a fin-tastic time at OC Waterpark during Shark Week from July 7-11. The park will be filled with shark-themed decor and floaties, plus a limited-edition “Shark Bite Slushie” to keep you cool.

Take part in our “Shark Hunter Challenge” – a shark-themed scavenger hunt where those who complete it will earn a Shark Hunter Certificate and prize! The first 100 kids to arrive each day will receive a shark tooth necklace. It’s going to be a Shark-tacular week you won’t want to miss.

Foam Friday

Join us every Friday in July from 5:30-7:30 PM at the OC Waterpark’s Spray Pad for Foam Friday, the perfect way for kids to cool off and have fun! Our foam cannons will fill the area with colorful foam, creating an exciting environment for kids to run, splash, and play. A live DJ will keep the music lively, and we’ll have a special guest – a mermaid – who will be visiting each week to add a little extra magic to the party. Foam Friday is the ideal way to kick off the weekend with family-friendly fun in a safe, energetic atmosphere. Come for the foam, stay for the fun.

Bathing Suit Drive

July 14 – 21

Join OC Waterpark in supporting the NJ Statewide Bathing Suit & Goggle Drive, started in 2018 by our General Manager, Christine Palma. This initiative helps provide new bathing suits and goggles to homeless families, ensuring they have access to swimming lessons—a crucial step in preventing drowning, the leading cause of death for children ages 1-4.

From July 14-21, we’ll collect new bathing suits and goggles at the park. If you bring in a new, unused bathing suit or pair of goggles, you’ll receive $5 an all day pass as our thank you for helping those in need. Let’s unite to make a splash and give back to the community.

Celebrate the magic of Christmas in July at OC Waterpark From July 21-25, we’ll transform the park into a winter wonderland with festive decorations and all the holiday cheer you can handle—without the winter chill.
During this special week, Santa Claus will take a break from his much-deserved summer vacation for photo ops, so bring your wish lists and get ready for some festive snapshots! And to add even more magic, don’t miss a surprise visit from Elsa on Friday, bringing her icy powers and wintery charm to the park for a magical meet-and-greet. We’ll also have delicious frozen hot chocolate and other holiday treats to keep you in the festive mood. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the holiday spirit in the summer sun.

Sensory Night at the Park

August 2 – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Join us for Sensory Night at OC Waterpark, a special evening designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the special needs community. This event will provide a quieter, calmer environment with no loud music, no flashing or bright lights, and a reduced crowd to ensure a more comfortable experience for everyone.

Our friend, Mermaid Brizo, will also be there to hang out and meet the kids, adding to the fun and magic of the evening. To ensure the event remains comfortable for all attendees, registration in advance is required. It’s a great opportunity for families to enjoy the park in a sensory-friendly atmosphere, creating lasting memories in a safe and welcoming space. Pirate Week

August 4 – 8

Ahoy, mateys! Pirate Week is coming to OC Waterpark from August 4-8, and it’s going to be an unforgettable adventure! Join us for a week filled with pirate fun, including epic pirate encounters on Tuesday and Thursday. Watch as pirates roam the park, causing mischief, performing daring acts, and handing out treasure.

The first [insert number] kids to arrive at the park each day will score a pirate hat and sword, so get there early! Plus, enjoy a refreshing virgin rum punch while you soak up the pirate vibes. Whether you’re ready to join the crew or search for hidden treasure, Pirate Week is the perfect way to end your summer with a bang.

Mascot Birthday Party

August 16

Come celebrate Lil’ Buc’s Birthday Party on August 16 at OC Waterpark. Starting at noon, join us for a fun-filled celebration with Lil’ Buc and some of his mascot friends from local businesses. Enjoy delicious cupcakes, sing Happy Birthday, and take photos with all the mascots!

But that’s not all—Lil’ Buc will be opening a special surprise gift that gives a sneak peek into what’s coming for our 2026 season—you won’t want to miss it! There will also be fun activities like balloon making and glitter tattoos to keep the party going. Come join the celebration and make some unforgettable memories with Lil’ Buc and friends.

Hawaiian Luau Party

Say Aloha to summer at our Hawaiian Luau Party on August 21. This will be our final event of the season, a perfect way to send off the summer with one last tropical bash at OC Waterpark.
